Get your bingo crew ready — Bags & Barrels Bingo is back for a second year!
American Legion Post 452 will host the Second Annual Bags & Barrels Bingo on Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Keewatin Community Center, with proceeds benefiting Angel Fund.
Doors open at 4 p.m., with bingo beginning at 6 p.m.
The evening will feature 10 games of bingo, a variety of prizes, food and plenty of fun — all while supporting local cancer patients.
“Last year’s inaugural Bags & Barrels Bingo was such a fun event, and we are thrilled to see it return for a second year,” said Kelly Grinsteinner, Angel Fund executive director. “We are incredibly grateful to American Legion Post 452 for continuing this partnership and choosing to support Angel Fund. It’s a great night out, but more importantly, the funds raised directly help our neighbors throughout Northeast Minnesota who are navigating cancer treatment.”
New This Year: Entry Available at the Door Only
This year, Certificates of Entry will NOT be sold in advance. They will be available only at the door on the day of the event for $100 per person, cash only. An ATM will be available on site.
Seating is first come, first seated and limited to 150 people. Those wishing to attend are encouraged to arrive early.
Funds raised through Bags & Barrels Bingo will help Angel Fund continue providing direct financial assistance to area cancer patients, helping ease some of the financial burden that can accompany treatment.
“We continue to be amazed by the creative ways organizations and individuals step up to support Angel Fund and the people we serve,” Grinsteinner added. “We hope those who joined us for the first Bags & Barrels Bingo will come back for another round — and that plenty of new faces will join us this year. Grab some friends, come ready to play and help us turn a fun night of bingo into meaningful help for local cancer patients.”
