Angel Fund was recently received two grants from the Hibbing Foundation.
A $500 grant from our COVID-19 Emergency Fund will go directly to Hibbing residents who are battling cancer. A $4,500 grant from The Owens-Pesavento/Dr. Benjamin P. Owens Family Foundation of Hibbing Foundation will go directly to Hibbing residents who are battling cancer.
Sandy Courneya, Angel Fund past secretary, writes, “In 2019, Angel Fund helped 174 Northeastern Minnesotans fighting cancer by gifting $69,600 for 174 first requests and $5,800 for 29 second requests (in 2018 Angel Fund helped 200 individuals gifting $80,000) primarily by providing gas cards for transportation to treatment. Each year the demand for our services remains strong. On behalf of those who will never be able to thank you, we send you our sincere thanks. Your generosity will make a positive difference to so many by giving them help and hope.”
Angel Fund is grateful for the Hibbing Foundation’s ongoing support!
