“Throw Pink” to debut on Iron Range

May 28, 2021 by Kelly Grinsteinner

Join us Saturday, June 26, at this disc golf event in Iron to raise money for Carrie Salo & Angel Fund!

Carrie Salo was recently diagnosed with a rare form of colon cancer. Carrie is currently undergoing chemo and radiation treatments. Carrie lives in Virginia/Midway with her husband, Rod. Carrie has made a positive difference for many years as a teacher in the Head Start Program in Virginia. Carrie and her family have also volunteered many hours to help others in the community, including Resurgence and Range Martial arts, that her family has been apart of for more than a decade.

Carrie has picked Angel Fund for her local charity.

This is not a tournament. It is a fun day outside playing disc golf. You can choose to play a round of 9, or just simply play in the short putting games and fun challenges we will have set up. There will be clinic area if you have never thrown before, and we will teach you how. You can also just come out and enjoy the day and support Carrie and Angel Fund.

Water and hot dogs will be provided. Restroom on site. Silent auction with local art and donations and a few raffles! We will also be selling discs, shirts, hoodies, hats and more!
